our eyes are too clever aren't they so the glasses will always be needed afaik

Apparently there will be a new 3DTV in a year or so that wont need glasses. The moment they come out, the current crop will be obsolete. The current generation which are slowly filtering into shops are going to cost around £3k. You'd have to be a monumental @#%&! to buy one.

one of my mates buys everything far too soon he therefore pays well over the odds and has a well out of date gadget within 12 months

3D should, by law, be limited to cinemas only. That is only where it is going to be worthwhile imo.

Having a 32 inch 3D picture whilst watching Eastenders?

spot on, unless you have a projector at home with a 100" screen.

3D makes the screen seem smaller from what i remember of avatar...

3D has died on it's arse twice before and will do so again. lolz

It's main failure is that fact it's shit and adds nothing.
