That`s a pretty good turnaround to be fair
As well as now being 20 games unbeaten on their own patch, the win over Betis also marked a 15th successive home game in which the Reds have now scored two goals or more. It is a feat that they had not previously achieved since October 2000, highlighting just how big an achievement it is.
They last failed to score two or more goals in a game on their own patch against West Ham United on October 30. They won 1-0 that day, courtesy of a brilliant first-half header from Rashford. It is only the fourth time in the club's history that they have netted 2+ goals in 15 consecutive home games, meaning it is not a trait that has come easily. In total, United have netted 41 goals in their last 15 Old Trafford outings. |

We're a better team than Liverpool. The table doesn't lie. As you say, a horrible, freaky result that everyone - team and fans - just needs to deal with. Was far worse last season when we got done by them because then it was the norm, rather than the exception. Hopefully everyone will learn from it. |

in the grand scheme of things the liverpool result won't have a great effect on our season. we're on course to finish comfortably in the top four and will probably get 3rd. obviously no room for complacency (or whatever that was on sunday) but i'm sure we'll see that one out. at this point the two trophies are becoming something of a priority anyway.
yeah we'll get quite a lot of ribbing from other fans but £#%&! them. united losing has always been a national event. just keep ploughing on as we had been before, and like we did after the city defeat earlier this season, and we'll be alright. |
