Heard that it's been approved by saf sir Bob and woowar and you would think that would be that (with the glazers just rubber stamping as usual) but NO! - they're concerned that the animal rights lot might get involved. Apparently woowar corrected them to confirm that the rspb was the correct governing body and they went mad at his insolence. Word is they like the idea though.

Apparently the glazers want a story board of the event making up - to be with them 9am Florida local time tomorrow or its just kilts and a sombre looking sir Bob (they know no one nails looking pissed off quite like Bob) who apparently will simply 'grimace' 96 times.

Let's rechristen Old Trafford as "Nu Anfield", name the Stretty as "Kop v 2.0" and increase capacity to 96,000 with a statue of Kenny Dalglish dwarfing the one of Matt Busby.

Anything less would be essentially pissing on the graves of The 96 (Copyright)

united play YNWA, audible minority of reds boo, twitter OUTRAGE ensues no doubt fomented by sky sports, FA to 'investigate', turds posted through letterboxes, united fined.

think we all know how this goes. might as well cut out the middleman and just pay up now.

Blue scousers played "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" for their salute to the families instead of that bloody song.

Originally, I thought this thread title said "Utd to play walk on *part* at Old Trafford Sunday" - which sounds horribly plausible, tbh.

Please don't let it be so, lads
