Okay prolific is the wrong word to use but you know what I mean. Despite the goal tally, some people would rather have Ibra then kane in their squad because of who Ibra is.

Yes it definitely helps that ibrahimovic is himself rather than say, someone else.

it would be fairer to say that ibra is an articulate self-publicist, whereas harry kane couldn't spell narcisssist, no matter how many crayons you gave him.

Hmmmm, even so, for the £100m or whatever itd take to get him, he'll be a fixture. £100m players aren't going to play 2 of every 3 games.

As great a player as Ibrahimovich is and has been, he has never been the key figure of a truly great team on the European stage. Inter improved without him, Barca struggled to integrate him, PSG flattered to deceive for years.

Having such a dominant figure as the focal point is not always healthy.

Which part?

The suggestion that Zlatan has not been a major catalyst for winning in Europe or that building so much around one player is not always healthy?

The only way he shouldn't is if we get a top striker.

Which we should.

So yeah.

Exactly. People talking like signing a £#%&!ing attacker is tantamount to heresy. I hate to shit on everyone's parade (i don't) but that jesus @#%&! at city has scored the same amount of goals as rashford this season and he only turned up in January.
