Was walking round the house singing Sit Down yesterday and started bealing like a big girl when I got to the "those who feel the breath of sadness" etc bit. The missus saw and laughed at me.

I was welling up here la yesterday, been a busy week, and yesterday morning was the first time I'd really sat down and watched anything tributey and read the SAF appreciation thread

as i mentioned on there I had the 'if i'd never seen such riches I could live with being poor' line stuck in my head all morning, googled it and got this

Look at Sir Matt at the Blackburn game, what the £#%&! is this afternoon going to be like, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter but i hope the team do him justice and send him off in style.

Watched the Treble dvd yesterday and had goosebumps. Filled up at the Nou Camp bit.

Watched The Grey and got wobbly at the poem.

Feeling pretty teary today and am sort of glad I won't be at OT today, don't think I'll be good for much.

Then again, I'll take a ticket of there's one going!

Not going to cry or anything like that but how old are you two? For people my age its all we have ever known. Probably hits us that little bit harder.

i was really disappointed when he announced he's off.

as GNev as said, he's rebuilt United*, but he's not died - it's a natural progression. It happens.

*on and off the field - which is two jobs in one.

i know he'll still be around and i do believe that this really is the right decision, but the next couple of games will make difficult viewing nevertheless. haven't really felt like watching any clips or anything from the past yet; will probably wait 'til everything's settled down then revisit.

Had a few large whiskeys and only went and missed the start, with him walking out... :shakehead: ...anything interesting happen.

Afternoon drinking and watching big games never pan out for me.
