Mourinho's not daft. He know Fergie is an utter control freak. Giving him just enough involvement to keep him onside. You keep Fergie onside then you keep United onside.
Anyway, they're good mates and it makes perfect sense to tap into the mind of a genius. Mourinho may have this arrogant public image but he's made a career out of learning from his peers. Bobby Robson, Van Gaal and now Fergie. He's clearly bright enough to know that there is always more to learn. |
