Default Team v Roma - The Official Thread

S'pose it's all dependant on wether Rio plays, I'm gonna p[resume he does and go with :-

VDS
Wes
Rio
Pique
Evra
Carrick
Scholes
Hargo
Ronnie
Tevez
Rooney

If Rio doesn't make it then I'd put Hargo at right back, Wes in the middle and bring Anderson into midfield. Lttle bit tempted to put Nani in but with our defensive issues I'd like to start with plenty of protection in front and i'm a big Tevez fan.

Anderson instead of Scholes or Carrick.

When is Nani back?

Difficult to see past Park playing, which I wouldn't be bothered about tbh

Park has two great virtues
Very hard working
Good passing success.(except when shooting at goal0

I remember seeing him tear Milan a new one a few years back.

He's got the quality and work rate to be very valuable, although as you say - Not in front of goal.

I'd be happy to see him start tonight.

Be nice to see Nani soon, great player to have on the bench if not starting

Dunno about brilliant, he's certainly a good player with a great work ethic and very good vision.

No Carrick OR Scholes? Is it really a good idea to drop the 2 best players we have at keeping the ball? Not for me.

I'd be happy enough if Park started, but Tevez at home is a different proposition when we realistically only need to get one goal. If we're a goal up at halftime I'd see him on for the remainder.

I'm shitting it that Fergie seems to think it's acceptable to even have Silvestre in the squad, let alone confirming yesterday that he'd probably play a part...

Didn't know whether to go with Hargo or Anderson. The fact that Anderson looks a spent force for this season tips the balance toward "The Cougar".
