Default We need a striker: Who would you want?

Even when everyone is fit, we need a striker, Saha can't be relied upon and last season we lacked another striker and this season will be the same. I would want Anelka but his attitude could be a problem, Yakubu could be a decent choice but I don't think he is a Manchester United player tbh.

From RI:

1637: Further to the news that Diouf wants to quit Bolton, Manchester United are now odds-on favourites to sign his strike partner Nicolas Anelka.

Sky Bet have the Red Devils at 4/5 to be the next destination for the Frenchman with bet365 offering odds of 5/6 he will move to Old Trafford by the end of the transfer window.

Anelka is 5/2 to still be at Bolton on September 1.

And I 100% agree with your sentiments, Yakubu would just scream panic buy. Anelka is a necessity.

I think Anelka is a good player, however I don't think we'll sign anymore players.

Adriano.

Get him fit and get his appetite back, what a player.

Fergie would sort him.

In Reality. No one.

Could've had him for the 30 odd million we spent on Nani and Anderson.

You asked we need a striker who would you want?

I answered Rossi as in Giuseppe.

Why have I misunderstood the question

Im I being thick as £#%&! or do you not understand that I would like us not to have sold Rossi.

I don't think so. What makes you think he'd want to come to us even if we could make a good enough offer to Barca?

Rossi is not and has never been a striker. He is a forward, of which we have several. He plays in the same position as Rooney. We have approximately 6 players who would be picked to play in that position before Giuseppe, hence he wanted to leave and was sold. It's a shame but he isn't good enough.

If you'd have said Smith, then you would've been on the right track.

It was a simple straight forward question that I answered..

It asked who I'd want, I answered with Eto'o..

The feasibility of such a transfer are neither here nor there..

..although I would add, make him want to come by making him and them an offer they couldn't refuse.

It can be done you know *.

* [SIZE="1"]refer to the case.. Heinze/Liverpool V Manchester United.

anelka will do. we could afford kanoute as well.
