Yeah, I know ! I put £25 on Columbia (quite fancied them as dark horses to win the whole thing) beating them in the first group game and up pops Hagi with a stupendous 30 yarder in the first 10 mins or so.


Here's a chap that really should have played for united.

Pure quality. Remeber that game with Argentina in 1994, the 3-2. £#%&!ing unreal. Was still top quality when he went to Galatasaray. Had a very good Euro 2000 too if I remember correctly. Great player.

European super cup - got ours arses handed to us but we won 1-0.

I remember a few years after he starred in Milans EC win over Barca, it was reported on Ceefax ( ) he'd signed a pre contract to join United that following summer - gutted when it didn't materialise.
