If a decent sized chunk of that wages is performance based, then just do it. He is, afterall, the calibre of player that could be getting similar wages at one of the big spenders, so it's not like he's being unreasonable.

Got world class talent and potential but he's not at the level were Barca or Madrid would want him or pay him that much
