That's almost exactly what Florentino Perez said about Makelele, he pretty much said the Spanish equivalent for "whoopy do" as well.

To be fair you can't compare Makelele to Carrick mate. Different types of players.

As players, perhaps, but the point was more that maybe they are similar in the subtlety of the job they do, and they shouldn't be taken for granted.

Thumbs up

Think he's done very well so far this season. Excellent range of passing, rarely gives the ball away, keeps the play moving, not to mention he's excellent at playing the through ball. Also, the amount of times he receives the ball while being closed down by the opposition, yet still manages to find a team mate in space. Good player, who'll only get better.

These are all things that neither o'shea or fletcher (the @#%&!) can do.

I know some people on here rate him but, in my opinion, he brings nothing to the side that we didn't have before. Numebr 16 my arse. Isn't fit to wear that number.

I hope he proves me wrong but I doubt it.

Koppas, you tool, you played the game at a relatively high level did you not?

I played for Forest. Started at West Ham.

The regulars know who I am.

I damaged my cruciate so I joined the forces.

The more I see of Carrick, the less patience I have with him. He definetly helps the team play better but Scholes is carrying him.

Doesn't even make sense.
