To be fair Fuzzy knows his logistics I'd be inclined to go along with him.

"Manchester United has always been at the forefront of the game off the pitch as well on it and this partnership is another example of that," said the manager, Sir Alex Ferguson. "Everyone knows about the passion of our fans in that part of the world and this deal makes it a lot easier for us to keep in touch with them."

It's this sort of horse shite straight from some £#%&!y PR "guru" that makes you truly world weary when it comes to United.

What's important here i think is that the club is raking in more money than ever before and ensuring that the bare minimum is spent on players and the team. As it should be.

At the minute we must be making absolutely millions. Our revenue etc, we continue to get these sponsership deals and 'partnerships' yet, quite clearly, we cannot compete for top players, Anyone who denys is either thick or works for the Glazers.

Personally I wouldn't be surprised to see us sign Sneijder because United themselves know it it becoming evident we cannot compete for top players. United will want to make a statement, of course, I'd imagine Fergie really wants Sneijder and it's for the team, but United will want to prove a point and sign Sneijder.

Of course if we do sign Sneijder Throb et al will all change their tune regarding the issue of Fergie spending big on a midfielder....
