Default Walcott's autobiography

little #@&%!

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...biography.html

Quote:
“A few days after we arrived in Germany for the 2006 World Cup, I walked past the snooker room in hotel and Wayne was having a match with John Terry,” Walcott writes. “It was close but when JT sank the winning pot, Wayne lost his rag and snapped the cue with his hands. It put the fear of God into me.”

should have wrapped it round JT's head tbh

Why in Thor's name do players release autobiographies when they're still playing? They won't have a bad word to say about their club or anyone still at it, hence it'll be full of half-truths or outright lies. Inoffensive pap.

quicker and cheaper to just text his story to the half dozen people who might be interested in the first place

Footballers are idiots. Why anyone would read a book they've 'written' is beyond me.

Grimmers is a fair bit older than that tbh, unless you actually are as young as the woman you feel.

Jaap Stam, Keano's and Rio's were all reasonable.

Giggsy's and Coles bored me to the point I didnt go past about 60-70 pages of either.

Sounds like Capellos a right rum @#%&! btw The player sneaking Nandos in FFS

Robbo is my all time hero. His book was the worst thing I've ever read.

Think of the side panel on a packet of cheese and onion crisps, only more boring.

Think I might have read that (or tried to) a while back. As you say, almost insomnia cure level

But IMO it pales into insignificance in the "boring" stakes compared to Steve Bruce's effort - Jeeezus
