November 1st. Should have the verdicts just in time for the 5th


So are we getting a trade deal or not

Brexit: No chance of US trade deal if Irish accord hit - Pelosi

Bolton was over visiting Bojo, Cash, Cummings and the like. Made a public announcement that the US would do sector by sector deals with the UK from November. Agri and Pharma were the top two priorities (surprise, surprise). Said that Congress would not block it. Said also that hard Brexit would have no impact whatsoever on NI / ROI...well he would know wouldn't he ?

This arguably doesn't really deserve a serious reply, but anyway - the Graun "long reads" are one of the remaining bastions of real journalism in the paper, thoughtful and not "comfort zone".

A contrast with most of its political coverage, which is - in both tone and content - increasingly indistinguishable from the right wing rags.
