They are cheats on and off the feild its just unfortunate that no authority wants do something about it.

I’m hoping they’ve now hit the wall we seemed to hit off the back of that Christmas schedule that took us 5-10 games to get over

It seems every year we have all this treble and quadruple talk, with the question always surrounding whether the team is good enough to pull it off. The margin for error is so small that it’s more about how it all lands for you. You just can’t afford one bad day at the office in the cups, and that’s what they had yesterday. Our treble side was incredible, but when you think back to Bergkamp missing that semi penalty, Bayern hitting the bar and post at 1-0, we’d be mad to not acknowledge how different it could have been.

It goes both ways too. The 08 side was screwed by the ref in the fa cup. The 95 team was two Andy Cole misses from matching what 94 and 96 managed. Instead they got nothing.

If you’re going for everything, all those moments have got to go for you and you’ve got to be pretty damn special on top of it. City were neither yesterday and it could happen in the other two cups too. Just a shame the league isn’t closer than it is.
