Fair play to Jose. Roma's first trophy in 14 years. First every European trophy.

We used to win trophies - but that was B.O (Before Ole).

I'm sure if Ole had stayed eventually uefa would've invented a trophy even he could win.

I still can't dislike the guy, mainly because he's a proven winner pretty much everywhere he's been.

Although I do have some sympathy for those who feel his style of football could perhaps be easier on the eye.

Once the board didn't back him he became spiteful and had to go. Pity he wasn't given free rein. He had Shaw and Martial's number and would've at least given the squad a jolt.

This is the same bloke who openly slagged off United's proud history in the European Cup in a press conference immediately after he led us to one of our most pitiful and ignominious Champions League exits.

He constantly placed his own ego ahead of the club, and his entire footballing philosophy was the absolute antithesis of the Busby-inspired values that Manchester United is based upon.

Our greatest ever player, Sir Bobby Charlton, was absolutely right when he intimated that this man would never suit this club.

Congrats to him on his trophy, but Saffers and whatever else remains of the Mourinho Knights, can get to £#%&!. Mourinho was never, and never will be, a true United man. Some won't know what that means, but their opinion isn't worth a £#%&!.

This.

The writing was on the wall in the summer of 2018 and Woodward needed to grow a set and should sacked him before the season had started. He didn’t and Mou said was then looking for ways to £#%&! things up.

But the first season finished with two cups (three if your Mou) and the second season finished with a cup final and 2nd place finish (our highest points total in the post SaF era I think?).

It didn’t work out and it’s time for people to move on.

regardless of what Bobby Charlton 'intimated', he was the last manager to win us anything and as for comparisons with Busby I think football has moved on from then. Mourinho knew he would have a short window to achieve anything and sometimes you have to play a certain way to win. The days off managers staying for periods like Busby and Fergie is long gone.

Think he pointed out he'd won the CL the same number of times as Man United.

Which, you know, he has to be fair.
