Default Our captain

Utterly anonymous today. Totally ineffective.

A joke of a line up today tbf.

And im no big rooney defender.

Couple of shocking moments from him though.

We literally have nothing in midfield though. It absolutely strangles our backline and forwardline. People were utterly shocked by some improved performances by us in the summer when we had a new midfielder in there. Imagine how itd look with another 2 nw guys, in a 433, running shit. Future is very bright imo, seems our worst fears in the market have been allayed.

Biggest mistake he made was picking him as captain. He can't drop him. And he can't play with RVP. And while he plays we stay 3-5-2. Which isn't working.

With problems as big as ours, even the least is a big £#%&!ing issue.

Mata as well. Utterly pointless.

RvP too as it stands.

Got some serious graft to do to get something out of them 3.

Except them linking up in the first hall well and some neat one touch one twos....

If you think our strikers are the problem in a two game season of 3-5-2 I'd suggest watching a little less football and entering the Sea, lifejacketless...

When he's bad he's absolutely £#%&!ing shite like today

Never seen a so called world class player who's touch and control can turn to that of a pub player so easily

I didn't say they were the problem. But it's not a new thing that they're not clicking.

It's a case of the forward players being too slow like today. Mata, Van Persie and Rooney. Welbeck and Januzaj added pace.

Di Maria has to change things for the good.

You don't pay someone 300k/week to 'work hard'.

When a player is on astronomical wages, you want world class ability and someone who will produce match winning moments.

Instead we're paying ~300k/week to see someone who with woeful speed, an inconsistent touch, a greatly tamed shot and little imagination to his play.

Why?
