File under Jones for mental issues. He's not up to it.

When asked if any update was available on Martial, Ten Hag had this to say: “We were hoping he’d be ready for the match against Southampton but unfortunately he had an upset stomach on Saturday, which caused his routine to go into disarray. His mother called and said she’d been preparing him regular drinks of hot water and honey which allowed him to recover quickly. Now it’s just a case of getting him back into the routine as quickly as possible - lots of rest and good sleep - and we think he may be ready in the next couple of weeks. He’s an important player for us and this is an important time of the season - he knows this and is working hard to get back for us.”
Unreal.

Amazing anyone thought he could be the tip of the spear for us this season. He's a @#%&!! Once he's gone he'll say the club never looked after his mental health and he felt sad whenever he went to Carrington.

Are the people here who defended him beyond the call of duty embarrassed yet?

If you think about it he's the fourth best no.9 at the club.

The slavish adoration for a completely-shot Ronaldo who couldn't wait to be out of the club not just once but twice while taking the £^$$! in ETH's first pre season on 500 grand a week ("I am a slave": ironic) compared to the time a local lad who does tons for the community suffers is more than a bit stomach curdling.

Needs a CF to play off then the final pieces fall into place.
