They did this when they were away for the World Superbowl thing.

Just a bit of backstory from your Merseyside correspondent.

Probably stand them in good stead for the Shrewsbury game too. Also bodes badly if his influence runs so deep that their reserves win another FA Cup tie.

The FA should kick them out of the tournament, put Shrewsbury through, and fine them an amount equivalent to what Shrewsbury would earn from the replay, and give that to them.

If Fergie or Mourinho did this it would be all over the news.
