System wise, the formation is a huge problem. The flat 2 DM's makes the midfield rigid. Ole should switch to a 4 3 3 and allow two CM's to push forward. Having a static 10 makes it easier for the oppo to crowd him out.

The wingers should hold their positions wide and receive the ball in that position instead of coming inside and searching for the ball. It narrows the pitch and kills the space in the middle of the park.

Player wise, I thought Gomes, Fred and Matic played well. The system didn't help them out though.

Rashford lacks finesse. Great strikers have a certain class about them. Martial has that quality. Rashford doesn't (or doesn't have it consistently). Rashford is a squad player at best.

Greenwood was alright but he didn't stay on the wing. The front four floated around a lot which shouldn't be allowed (this is an Ole issue). I'm anti allowing players to freestyle the attack. It £#%&!s up the system. They just run wherever they like disregarding what is good for the team.

Anyway, on to the next one. We will do well against West Ham because they will want to attack. We will counter them successfully. Our defence should be solid enough to withstand their attacks. The optimist in me says 2 - 0. The pessimist in me says 1 - 1.
Of course you did

people have eyes.

he has had more time than the rest of them put together. he's an absolute £#%&!ing nothing at this level.

but we should pretend he's got a chance so we don't come across as @#%&!s to someone who doesn't just claim to follow united?

Probably wouldn't, but it's not the United I want. If others don't care then it's horses for courses I suppose.

We would have had it had Rashford put some of his chances away. We are heavily dependent on him right now and he could be doing better.

Poor £#%&!er needs to fill out a bit as well.

Don't think many understand the jump from playing against 18/19 year olds who might make it to 20+ year olds who have made it and are experienced. It's £#%&!ing massive. Very, very few do it with haste, and even fewer maintain it It's insanely difficult.
