He looks in much better shape that at this point last year. He ended 10/11 in good form, was starting to show a goal threat but he turned up for pre season badly out of shape, Fergie even made a point of mentioning it. He still started the season in good form, but how much of a factor was his excess weight in the injuries he picked up?

The pictures might be flattering, will wait to a match before fully judging him, but considering how long long he has been out for he looks leaner than I expected.

As a young player he had fantastic acceleration, I doubt that with all his injuries he will be able to get that back.

still looks a lil on the 'heavy' side imo

could do with dropping a few pounds, but that might because he's been on the weights more during his injury, might not be all fat, but knowing his history it probably is

tbh if we get anything from him next season it'll be a bonus, but im not counting on it

not exactly looking lean and keen here

exactly, compare him to how he used to look in his early 20's and you can clearly see he has let himself go

its just odd that SAF & co haven't pulled him up on it in public or summat
