Just heard a woman fan on the radio putting the outraged presenter in his place.

'It's an old chant, and not to be taken literally'.

I wish she'd have added 'you £#%&!ing moron', but she was too polite.

Default Football analogy/ money.

Say you like your job & you get on with everyone but get £10 an hour. A rival company offer you £50 an hour so it's a no brainer you're off. However the job is quite a bit different which you don't enjoy & most of the staff are useless #@&%!s. To sum up money isn't everything.

Who gives a £#%&! about Neil Ashton

Sports PR is a load of %@#$&!s in general, but certainly in the case of United. Woodward's been a meme for years and no amount of press pals are going to change that. If anything they'll exacerbate it.

Is that Neil Ashton the ex Sun reporter? Wasn't he ripping into Woodward last year?

This one?

ED ON THE BLOCK - Man Utd under growing pressure from Glazers and face a make or break summer in transfer market

Quote:
HE was supposed to be Ed Boy — but Woodward is now the one who is being closely monitored at Manchester United.

Executive vice-chairman Woodward — one of the most powerful figures in world football — should command instant respect. () ...

... United’s haphazard approach to transfers, with Woodward squandering fortunes on a squad of under-achievers, has put him under pressure.

He is a public figure — but his football acumen is being privately questioned by United’s demanding American owners...

... It is not his bag. Woodward has failed to modernise United after ticking off another year without winning the Premier League title...

... Beyond that, Woodward’s appalling record in the transfer market is amplified because of United’s worldwide profile and the headline-grabbing figures...
Doubt we'll seem much more like that from him now. He's Ed's signing of the decade, he's already wrapped up his transfer business for the month with this one.

Maybe there's room on the bonfire for Neil Ashton as well?
