I never understood why we didn't play him more down the right. I remember one game he was on that side of the pitch he was devasting, but Fergie rarely seemed to put him out there (unless my memory's really gone to shit)

Hard as nails compared to Bruno. When he was playing, there was always a chance he’d do something special, and I don’t mean like pass to one of his own teammates, which is currently something of a novelty at United.

Players were held to a higher level of scrutiny back then.

It used to boil my piss watching him at times, but if I'd known what nonsense was to come I would have been a lot more forgiving. He'd be the least annoying player in our current set-up.
