Just had a phone call from the ticket office telling me that they have season tickets available and that my name is at the front of the list to get them. Lucky me, you £#%&!ers will be waiting years to get one

Tony you table topped @#%&! chops.

As mentioned earlier - football clubs operate on the 80/20 rule in that 80% of the income is derived from 20% of the seats. The executive season ticket sales have collapsed - even last season, they were selling exec day packages to cover the empty gaps.

So while 50,000 normal season tickets is good for PR, day trippers and the witless unemployed looking out of the window and listening to Alan £#%&!ing Brazil, the facts are slightly different.

That's good news then if we're getting rid of the corporates.

btw without getting involved in this too much, surely regardless of the G&G campaign football is too expensive, people are pissed off with being ripped off, fed up to £#%&! of those £#%&!ers on the pitch crying and bleating and getting 120k a £#%&!ing week to do it, there is a bit of an economic issue in the world right now, and all these things affect the corporate match-day as well as the cheap seats. ticket prices have been checked, a whole array of 'creative' packages have been designed, and ultimately discounted bums on seats are better than none at all. most clubs would be affected by this i'd have thought, especially one with a 76,000 stadium.

one of the plusses (for our away support and for the G&G) if it carries on like this is that there'll likely be a far bigger percentage of away support in stadiums. this in itself could see people leaving OT in droves - imagine another 5,000 villa fans singing see you on the motorway and shall we sing a song for you for an hour.
