two great goals and an assist.

well, yes.

I reckon foster's seat probably has a seat-belt. full four-point harness.

this is more about berbatov's missed sitters and how it was wrong to sell saha.

especially if you're not even going to have welbeck and macheda on the bench.

I don't recall a huge outcry about letting Saha go at the time.

Well you probably were, you're usually consistent in your opnions if nothing else. I don't think he'd ever have got himself right at United. Why that is and whose fault it is is a different argument. It's early days this year too and he didn't play an afwul lot last year.

that's very reasonable.

but he did score a great header and berbatov missed two sitters.

forget saha, I would have scored both of them and my knees are £#%&!ed.

Diouf is the new Saha anyway, remarkably similar in style.

He was finished once he missed that penalty at Celtic. His confidence was shot to bits after that.

saha is a quality player, i think most on here had that view.

he would still be at utd if it wasn't for his injury problems.

very under rated, imo.

nft.

saha is class. i've always said this.

the problem is, fergie was in a tricky spot - if he kept a player (on big wages) who kept pulling out of matches with injuries, he'd have been slated by most, regardless of the lads potential. So he sold louis and lo and behold he starts scoring. but that's the risk you take. whether it was injuries or whether it was in his head, he was running out of time to get going, so fergie cashed in.

brilliant player though.

This has been done to death.

In summary:

On his day, Saha is one of the best strikers in the world. He has pace, can play with the ball at his feet, it strong and has an eye for goal.

The problem was, he was mentally £#%&!ed. He needed to move on and that was clear to everyone.
