Last night wasn't the "United Way", that's for sure.

Sadly this is true. Our record against Spanish teams in particular is utterly horrific.

I didn't think it was that good. Obviously, I enjoyed it because it was all about United but it stopped at 99 and it missed out loads of great stuff. It was Cantona + 99 the documentary.

It's Utd from 58 to 99, with Eric.

Nothing awful at all.

Watching this with a hangover. Can’t handle all the Munich stuff. What the £#%&! have I done?

Might have to put the Snowman on instead.

I see.... I really enjoyed Never Give In.... may avoid this and watch something else.

I don't know if I can be bothered with Eric wittering on.

it covers stuff you've seen a million times and kind of over-cooks Eric's contribution to the overall history of the club, but you'd expect that given he made it.

It's ok, nothing earth shattering.

Ah really? Was also just about to watch...

Fergie one was great

But...

All these docs basically build up to and end with 99 and I get why obviously but I’d like one that goes beyond the treble. Something that tells the story of how he rebuilt us and took on the money of Chelsea and won another EC.

Yep. As good as these Documentaries are, it all needs covering over a 6 or 8 part Netflix series. The United Way skipped out a big chunk of the post Munich, pre-68 era and the post Busby era, which I’d have loved to have seen in more detail - especially given the parallels with the modern day.

Give each decade 90 minutes
