Default Rio Ferdinand

I know some notable fredsters will disagree but what a huge character and miss he is from the team. Loved Rio. Part of the best United defence i've ever seen.

Love Rio

Listening to Key103 radio station the other morning and he rang up and donated 500k to buy toys for their charity.

Best defender I've seen at United in his prime.

They're battering us at every level from u18 downwards.

They're systematically hoovering up all the best young players in the country. A friend of a friend just had their son sign with them and he's in Essex! They're going to relocate his whole family.

Signed him from Leeds for a massive £30m, real flash cockney git looked like he could be all style no substance. We all had massive doubts, that lad really worked his way into our affections. Red legend

Always was going to end up a great player but he developed into a good leader too which was a pleasant surprise.

Don't think much of him as a pundit.

"as a defender"
"as a midfielder"

Someone needs to give him new sentence starters

We were offered him for half of what we bought him for when he left west ham but fergie decided he was surplus to requirements because we had wes brown...

Sounds crazy but actually shows freggles ability to reconsider class as rio matured

Top player

it's not crazy. 30m in 2002! To one of our biggest rivals. Fergie put his big balls on the table.
