Pique is unlucky we have Rio and Vidic, 2 of the top 10 center backs in the world game.

Excellent young player, lacked acceleration, but superb composure on the ball and when thrown into high pressure games against Roma and Arsenal he really performed well.

Evans is highly rated by a lot of people on this forum, but would they have been happy with him in those games? Big step up from Sunderland to playing in CL QF's and crucial league games.

Somewhat shortsighted IMO, 21, only going to improve, could be one of the top defenders in Europe in 2/3 years.
