top bloke by all accounts kiddo. Would like to see him in charge of the academy but that isn't going to happen.

he was wrong what he did behind fergie's back, but surely the relationship those two had could be healed after this long.

Edwards already has a statue in Dudley (as you probably know). There is the Munich plaque, the Munich clock, the Munich tunnel. There is the Busby statue, and the Busby plaque.

I like this statue; three European Footballer of the Year winners, all legends in their own right, sat right in front of the forecourt - nice touch.

There's no reason why there can't be more statues around the place though I agree. They'll need a spot next to Matt for Ferguson's sooner or later for a start off

A fair point, but I imagine it would be very dificult to produce statues of any quality of most of those people due to the lack of reference information.

Of the new statue, Denis and Sir Bobby's likeness' are good, because they were available to model, have pictures taken and so on, George isn't so good despite all the pictures that exist.

The guy that made the sculpture even said that we should start work on the Fergie one now as it will be so much more dificult if we don't bother until he's brown bread.
