Default So, a year ago today we made our moves for Nani and Anderson...

Heady days indeed. Doesn't look like we'll be able to get our business done nearly as early this time round, does it?

Think it's more difficult with the European Championships on so soon but who knows, last year was a surprise, maybe this year will too.

That's because most of the top players are preparing for Euro 2008

Last summers transfers were probably the best bit of transfer business we've ever done. Or any other club in the modern era to be honest.

How long does it take to write £40m on a piece of paper?

You have to remember the ST renewal deadline is next Friday, so new signings will happen either Weds or Thursday next week, and Ronaldo will be sold on Sunday (when every £#%&!ers STs have been renewed).

To be fair it might have to be in French and in Euros.

Surely they could convert it themselves. £#%&! me, we're offering them £40m pound, the least they can do is their own accounting ffs.

I don't think the Euros make that much of a difference, tbh. Both Nani and Anderson, as well as Tevez, were involved in international tournaments last summer, and the likes of Bosingwa, Modric, Barzagli, Nasri etc have already agreed moves this year ahead of the championships.

I think last summer was simply a bit of a one-off, but according to reports Fergie wants it done quickly again, which suggests we have clear targets in mind.

Doubt we'll sign any more than 2 players to be honest.

Hopefully get Tevez, Evra & Ronnie sorted out as well (got a bad feeling about Ronaldo though. Great player, but I don't trust him to be honest. Reckon he'll be a bit sneaky while he's away with Portugal. Hope I'm wrong)

Haven't got a clue who we're after...obviously we need a striker to replace Saha. Benzema, Huntelaar, Fabiano....would be happy with any of those.

OK I won't. I may be mildly surprised now if we sign 3.

It would've been good had we signed Gravesen and De Jong.
