Let him be tested outside of Manchester. People are calling for him to be the next manager after Van Gaal just like they were calling for Robbo and Keane. £#%&! that. He should learn from Van Gaal then leave and then we can have an opinion rather than this madness that somehow he'll automatically be a good manager.

He's clearly impressing and making an impact after just a week.

Amazing that it's apparently so rare in English football for pre-season fitness exercises to actually incorporate a football in some way, think I saw it called "disguised running" in another article. Or maybe it's just United it's been rare at?

Too right. The number of professional footballers that can't use both feet equally is beyond me. It's all they do everyday ffs.

doesn't have to be equally......just competently.....£#%&! me, I remember giggs himself hoofing a right footer over the bar in front of an open goal v arsenal in a cup tie once....we were 0-1 down at the time.....and we lost the match....he'd have done no worse if he'd whacked it with his #@&%!

Unfortunately it's a classic British thing to do: get the lads back from holiday and absolutely thrash the %@#$&!s off them. We're great at producing athletes in this country; strong, quick players. I think it's something within English football that we seem to value the ability to just charge around the pitch like nutters, rather than the ability to make the opposition charge around like nutters by tactical pressure and possession.

Early 2003?

I remember that the next issue of RI had a photo of Giggs, a cow's arse, and a banjo.

Question

No British Bulldog and daily Bleep tests until Until someone (Ando) gets hospitalised anymore. no Jags Montages with the Gladiator soundtrack anymore either.

I think now the people who would scoff at the notion that Fergie wasn't a full tactician or a coach get a better idea of what that meant. Big change for the players and its possibly the first time we've had such a thoroughly tactically attentive manager and coaching staff.

Love hearing Giggsy sound like he's getting an education. We've needed this so badly, having struggled to develop players in recent years.
