They should go for Pjanic based on the other night.

Nah, they'll want more than one. Motta won't be around forerver.

Also, Verratti is a big Juventus fan. There's a suggestion he could leave to go back to Italy at some stage, possibly even this summer.

As awesome as poggers is, verratti is quite special himself. Would be another incredible deal if they pull off 40m euros + verratti for poggs.

Signing vidal for 10m euros, pogba and pirlo for nothing, marchisio through the youth system. Must be the cheapest set of top midfielders ever.

Yep, delighted for them tbh.

Of course, Verratti himself costing a whopping €12m when he joined PSG.

Have to wonder why we are linked to the likes of Gundogan when at nurnberg and verratti when at pescara for really low fees yet do nothing about it? Wrong agents? Clearly we identified their talent early, whats the probem?

What's the point of the buttner and bebe punts when the likes of cabaye and gundogan went for 5m each in 2011....

Well, links can come from agents of course, rather than there actually being much in it. Certainly the image projected by United in recent years was one of a club not having their finger on the pulse in terms of the European market. Fergie practically saying there's nobody to buy, settling for easy, domestic shite like Ashley Young. Only seemingly going for obvious targets like Hazard, Sanchez, Kagawa etc.

Basically Martin probably sat on his £#%&!ing arse during his last few years before retirement.

As opposed to his all action style of the previous 20 years?

Rooney seemingly renewing, mata, januzaj, kagawa, nani.. Really cannot see us blowing another £37m on that type of player, especially one that young. If we are lucky enough to get another £30m+er, it will surely be a top CM.

Drax is currently injured for 2 months btw.

If we have another 37m lying about it needs to be thrust into a brown envelope and sent to turin, just the way juve like it.

I know he's injured but he's only 20 and will be some player, we should jettison another four or five players at least and be signing kids like this, we could give them Kagawa and £20million they would take that

Draxler's release clause is only activated in the Summer, so why would Schalke agree to sell him now?

If Draxler has a good World Cup they could get even more for him.

Did Martin ever bring us anyone good?

And we make a £#%&!ing pig's ear of the talent we do have so we've got a £#%&!ing hide complaining about not bringing talent in.

I'd happily take draxler in and nani or even big kaggers out.

Anything is possible, who believed a week ago that matoh would be ours?

Agreed. I think he'll leave in the summer, and then there may be more suitors than just arsenal. Would be typical mourinho if he steamed in just for the £#%&! of it.

I think he went all over the £#%&!ing place for most of his career. Must have had the time of his life.

He probably did, but we didn't seem to have a good grasp on the market in recent years. The youth players are easier to scout, most of them either played against United (the twins, Henriquez etc) or they're just well-known at that level (Pogba captain of French youth sides).

Chicharito was apparently a chance thing that came down a little to luck. But the biggest indicator is Fergie. Saying there's nobody outside of Xavi and Iniesta who would improve our midfield is basically an unintentional admission that they weren't doing their homework.

Bet Moyes was appalled at our database :shakehead:
