Football David de Gea 2015/2016

My word he is an outstanding goalkeeper. Saves things he has absolutely no right to. So glad he still plays for us, irrespective of what happens next summer.

Would be top of the league had he signed his contract earlier.

I wanted united to tell Madrid to £#%&! off and then bench de gea for the season to teach him a lesson, what an absolute know nothing c*** I am. Delighted for alpaca face, gutted for me.

Absolutely brilliant. Definitely the best in the world. Who gives a £#%&! if Neuer tackles someone 40 yards out.

He's loving it too.

Today highlights the difference between having a very good keeper and having a world class keeper. Without DdG today we would have undoubtedly lost or drawn today's game.

I don't care about the Madrid fiasco. I understand why he wanted to go there but lady luck for once was smiling upon United and we now have our worldy keeper back. He has not let the whole shit fest affect his performance and looks as committed as before when he is on the pitch.

The man is quality and long may he be wearing the green shirt of United

People who said we should accept 20million from Madrid and be done with it. Thank god we stuck to our guns. 20 million is nothing to us for a player who wins us multiple games. Now we get him for not jut one more season but perhaps for much longer.

I felt like a lone voice in the wilderness around the people wanted us to give them de gea and 20 mil for ramos. Honestly thought I'd gone into some parallel universe.

Tbf I think it was more the inevitable feel of him leaving anyway that led to that view. Don't think anyone really wanted him sold outright to begin with.

His performance today: £#%&!ing hell. Nft.

It was never inevitable but a lot of people on here sold him short. I said over and over again that if he goes it should be for a world record fee and was drowned out by people thinking him plus 20 million for ramos was a bargain. it was unbelievable

Yeah a lot of criticism was being flung at Woodward also. The guy was spot on. We were getting the shaft from DDG's agent and Real. What was the point in bending over and grabbing our ankles? To look decisive?? Personally didn't give a stuff if he was grumpy for his last year.... he is one of the best players in the world and the most important player in our team. Either we sold him for 50+ Million and found a world class replacement or keep him for a final year. Turns out he can't bear the risk of injury and hot having a long term contract He should have renewed his contract and then looked to leave the club at fair value. That was the honorable thing to do.

We played chicken with DDG's agent and Real and won. Twas brilliant.
