Default West Ham v Manchester United : Official Match Thread : 7/5/23 7pm

I think Martial deserves a rest after his heroics of briefly sprinting against Brighton.

Same back four.
Bruno Casemiro Erikson.
Rashford through the middle, supported by two absolute passengers (one slightly rowdy)

Let's go

Drop Antony or Martial for Sabitzer.

Fred out for Eriksen.

We need a midfield.

The day it finally dawns on the optimists that top 4 is gone

Got a good feeling about armchair match threads. Glad there's dodgy WiFi still on the qe2 to get in before another believe cursethread

Drop that flake up front.

Rashford up top with Antony and Sancho either side.

Surely Eriksen back in.

Fred to be euthanised before kick off.

Top thread starter from the boss

with Stickers here, but please Erik… rather Horse than Fred, if we must (later) and Martial no more than after 70 mins. Obvs hope for a win but a point not a disaster, unless we throw a 4 goal lead away

Reckon Maguire starts with Shaw moved back to LB.

Possibly three in midfield too.

I’ll be there again today hoping see a win.
been to near enough every game played in London this season and yet to see a 90 minute win.

Draw 3 and win 2 and we'll get 4th. Today can be one of the draws

Since when are games played at 7pm on a Sunday? It's nearly as weird as playing league games on a Thursday night.

It’d be nice if Varane can make an appearance. Move Shaw back to lb and Rashers has some support.

Start weggy over Fred.

Nacho on in the 60th

I’d rather not be relying on games further down the track with only 5 left. 5 points from 12 isn’t a good return, it’s the makings of bad form we can ill afford.

Can’t see Garnacho starting and hasn’t Erik said Varane will be back for Wolves?

If we start Maguire, we will lose. He’s poisonous.

DDG

AWB
LINDELOF
SHAW
DALOT

CASEMIRO
ERIKSEN
BRUNO

SANCHO
RASHFORD
ANTONY

Garnacho on for Sancho when he’s inevitably hauled off after 70 minutes.

I fully expect the whole fireworks and pyro tonight for West Ham's annual world cup final. I swear this and spurs are the only two fixtures this £#%&!ing club care about.

They win and they're pretty much guaranteed safety, so they'll be well up for it.

Our load of wet lettuces can barely manage 35 mins of cohesive football at this stage so it'll be yet another long night.
