Default Would you be happy...

If you were told in May we'd sign Erikksen, Malacia, Martinez, Antony and Casemiro?

It looks like that will be our summer business concluded. On paper it looks ok, but it was a horrible journey to get here and a lot of bullshit along the way.

Or are the 'only June' lads vindicated?

Only casemiro is a definitive upgrade to the first XI.

So, no.

On paper, fine. If none were his preferred targets, then ‘no’.

It seems Antony was a first choice, along with De Jong and Timber. It looks like we were in for Nunez too. So, not great.

Everything going well seemed to hinge on the FDJ transfer, which has been a nightmare (although in defence of the club, wasn’t entirely their fault. We should have walked away long ago)

And now we’re panicking and paying over the odds, which is what people were worried about when the Calendar Gimps started chiming in.

I suspect all in that list will be replaced in the next 12 months by better players here or new recruits.

I don’t think Lok’s that good at football. We. Plus put him in goal, I suppose.

Probably turns better than Maguire and less fat than Shaw.
