As long as we’re not scoring and only ever forcing narrow wins, we’ll miss out. We’ll just drain ourselves more quickly if we’re always chasing matches or narrowly hanging on. It’s exhausting. City’s piss easy win yesterday will have felt like a rest day for them. Coasting it and very relaxed. Us on the other hand, panting like hot exhausted dogs trying to eat our own shit.

I honestly thought Rashers and Greenwood’s performance against the rats would turn us back on. But that’s the worst performance of the £#%&!ing season.

Was an ‘on’ believer from the start of the season but I’m struggling now.

We need to destroy Arsenal- anything less and it’s goodnight Vienna.

City 5 easyish games.

United a load of rock hard away games.

They’re currently less than 3pts behind us with a game in hand.

Been a good run, lads.
Since then:

Win away to Fulham
Draw away to Liverpool
Win away to Burnley
Loss at home to Sheff Utd
?? away to Arsenal

City
Win home against Brighton
Win home against Palace
Win home against Villa
Win away to WBA
?? home against Sheff Utd

Beat Arsenal and it's (15) to 10.

Lose and the only thing we'll be whispering will be 'bugger'.

Unless City £#%&! up, it's unlikely

Still, if we finish above the best team in the world ever, I'd be okay with that.

Even if it’s off the bench for a month

If he makes an impact it could be the rocket up the arse the forwards are desperate for.

as i said in other thread i think a free agent like costa is the way forward till the end of the season

i don't care how we get the goals, or who bags them - just get someone in

last night the team was flat - they're running on fumes

it's still on, but we can't have any more misfires

For the most part there are periods of nearly all games, except against the bigger teams, where we stink the place out.

I’d love to be wrong obviously but my red tinters aren’t what they used to be.

It was never on. Get within touching distance this year, strengthen further in the summer and then next year, maybe...

Sadly this, we need to keep going, still lots to play for and a big game Saturday I feel.

Need to bounce back straight away.

We're toothless upfront and shit at the back. We've been on the brink all season.

If we beat arsenal, great....but we'll just £#%&! up again at home v some other turd fc

Unlike the last two seasons, I think there will be plenty of twists and turns this season, its important that we bounce back against Arsenal and keep some form of pressure on City.

City will stroll it from here.

They don't concede goals, control possession and are now starting to score as well. Winning combination.

Yep

It’s not a ‘normal’ season and city will still drop points.

As Mozza would say, it’s over yet it never really began.

Fergie won £#%&! all for four years and had only one significant team in his way. Ole has got city, vermin, Chelsea, plus to a lesser extent Spurs as well as new money at Everton to contend with. He’s drained a lot of the swamp, certainly many on our original list. Martial hasn’t proved to be what LVG told us he would. Pogba has Mino issues. Dave isn’t what he was. Getting us top at this stage is almost an over achievement from where we were. The trajectory is good and we’ve got to keep the faith.
