United must have a load of people wanting the gig and some of them will be the best. Woodward doesnt want one because he will be sidelined. If they make big signings he wont get any credit. The guy is a #@&%!.

New signings aren't the only thing we have a "good look" at, it appears.

Sounds like a broker roll. Little chinless Eddy wanting to make all the decisions but concedes he is tired of having his pants pulled down in the playground. Appoint a big boy to do the arguments.

If we really wanted a director of football, to buy well researched future stars for sensible fees, and build toward a larger picture goal, you can’t get better than Paul Mitchell. His track record is flawless and he’s an ideal fit for the role. Even with the penny pinching idiocy he’d be forced to work under. If only the insecure gerbil could have the spine to accept someone else may be better at squad building strategy and recruitment, than he is.

The black hole despair of our situation is, that for all the leeches restrict and take, we could still be competing for titles if that worm Woodward’s ego wasn’t so f***ing fragile.

Spot on. Bugged me in Fergie’s days too, never felt they used the resources available wisely, were never aggressive enough in their scouting/signings etc. Even £#%&!ing worse now.

No idea why they are looking at members of Gang Starr for this role but nothing surprises me concerning woodward.

Even more odd considering the gentleman is, I believe, quite dead.

Always said we're not looking for a DOF. Doesn't fit our business model, end of.
