His movement and energy are leagues ahead of Lukaku. He, and Lingard to a lesser degree are key to why we are suddenly seeing Matic and co pass forward so much more, just keeps making the runs, stretching defences. It is not glam but make the opposition work that hard and mistakes will come.

Hopefully the lower league clubs that are Rashford's real level were watching. Shop window performance.

Seriously, embarrassing thread, should be locked imo. Do a new one. Give certain people a chance to start afresh. Let's come together.

Has improved more in 4 games under Ole than he did in well over 2 years under The Virus.

Two league goals in about four months this season pre Ole. Three in about ten days since then.

Hard not to imagine where he would be now if he’d had that trust and confidence for the last two years.

Still very erratic with his finishing, but there was a conversation on this thread a while ago where I suggested he needed to be doing more. He has always grafted, that wasn't in doubt, but he was missing a lot of chances and simply not doing enough to justify inclusion, regardless of where he played.

Ofcourse, the way we played under Jose was stunting every forward we have.

He's offering more now. He still misses chances, he still makes poor decisions, but the goals are coming, the assists are coming and you end each game looking at him and knowing he contributed massively to the performance.

A lot of that is down to the change upstairs, but he was starting to look promising in the last days of Jose and he's kicked on from there.

Long may it continue. The level of his talent might have been cause for debate on here, but I don't know anyone who isn't desperate to see the kid do well. Every goal, every assist and every part he plays in a win feels like something more than if another player had done it.

Actually holds the ball up far better than lukaku as well. Amazing that you don't need to be a 6ft 5 and 17 stone to be able to hold a ball up. Just need to have a decent first touch

He actually started to improve even before JM got the sack, in truth. Earlier this season he was almost (bad) Lukaku-level poor.

At some point future potential has to be realised in the present. He wasn't playing well; now he is and everyone's happy.

Ask Rashford himself about what he thinks about "The Virus" and how much he improved under him.

Delusional anti Mou nonsense, come on you should be above this.

Rashford had some terrific moments playing for United under Mou. And his goals/assist count was spectacular and among the highest of his age group in europe since 2016. Minutes played speaks for itself. He will have his ups and downs under Ole too. He is still only 20 y/o. He is frighteningly young.

Ole said last night there will be games he will play on the left and right too. Does he hate Rashford too?
