Oh. You’d rather Ronaldo than Herrera? Can kind of see where you’re coming from there tbf. Interesting opinion.

Him being stamped on by Gerrard led to the finest heatmap in football history.

Swap him in for Matic and he'd do the job of McFred on his own. Great at breaking up play, keep it simple and get the attack going.

If he could, he'd still be here.

I didn't dislike Herrera but he always seemed a bit lightweight and, meh.

Certainly wasn't sad to see him go.

Ander Mehrerra.

Only positive of him coming back is potentially getting Bereiters passing ITK goss to Draggers again.

He could've easily still been at United had he not demanded a huge wage increase. He's a very ordinary player.

We've had a lot of ordinary players do fine jobs for us down the years.

Agreed. Ordinary - he did his job and did it quite well. He was not extraordinary as in he lit up the stage every time, but nor was he a calamity. We need ordinary, reliable players in a squad. I don’t think he is the right player for where we want to go, but nor would I be closed to a return

No way would I have him back. Almost Cringe the lengths our fan base went to to view him as top class due to the darkness at the time.

There’s a huge difference between ‘top class’ and ‘giving his all’ ... Let me ask you, would you have him in our squad above Fred, McT or Matic?

Giving his all? He turned down a contract offer from us to go PSG. He didn’t even want to be here the last time he was here towards the end of his contract . I’m sure he would “give it his all” this time around .

Forget signing players who have left the club, unless it’s Ronaldo who is a once in a lifetime type player the rest can get to £#%&! .

Would have him for another season. He’d be a decent squad player.
