Football OFFICIAL: Tottenham v Manchester United|Premier League|Sunday 13 January 2019|16.30|Sky Sports PL

Lucas Moura’s fitness will be assessed ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United.

The attacker missed Tuesday’s Carabao Cup semi-final, first leg win over Chelsea because of a knee problem and Mauricio Pochettino will wait until nearer to Sunday before establishing whether he can be involved against the Red Devils.

There is good news on Eric Dier, who has started to join in with some team training sessions following his bout of appendicitis. However, he remains unavailable for selection this weekend.

Meanwhile, central midfielder Victor Wanyama (knee) is now progressing to the late stages of his rehabilitation.
Quote:
Earlier in the week, Solskjaer told MUTV that Marcos Rojo had flown home from the training camp in Dubai due to problems with an injury, while Fred is currently on paternity leave as his partner prepares to give birth.

Paul Pogba picked up a knock in the win at Newcastle on 2 January, but he joined the squad in the Middle East, trained there and was declared fit by the caretaker manager in Thursday's pre-match press conference.

Chris Smalling was also working on his recovery in Dubai, having missed all of the matches under Solskjaer due to a foot issue. Late in 2018, the Norwegian did hint that the defender might be ready to return around the time of the Spurs match.

Victor Lindelof was given a break for the FA Cup win over Reading, but has started all the Premier League games under Solskjaer, so he could return to the starting XI to make what would be his 50th United appearance in all competitions.

Marcos Rojo, meanwhile, has returned to Argentina for rehabilitation.

I made the mistake of going to a game in recent years.

We beat Liverpool 3-1.

Little tip: Get pissed out of your head or you'll be bored to £#%&!ing death. It's SHIT.

Draw at best, I reckon. We've still got issues and I expect Spurs to expose them.

We'll struggle to get a grip on midfield.

But I'm confident we'll go there to express ourselves.

Under Jose, it would have been painful to watch, win lose or draw.

2-2. And I'll take that.
