I don't think even the club thought he would do this well. Could be about to give themselves a very tough decision to make.

The football of Cruyff and van gaal is not the same.

Correct. Outside of the Dutch school of football's basic given fundamentals they'd see themselves as different. But to suggest they couldn't be more different in a wider sense is something else. Cruyff disagreed with Van Gaal's football. He hated Mourinho's.

I'm sure i heard the commentator say today, we've only got 1 away game against a top 6 side left this season (Arsenal).

Spurs have got an horrific run of games coming up too & Kane is injured as well.

The way things are going, 3rd isn't an impossible dream.

Well, still early days yet and the new boss bounce could wear off. Relief after Mous exit has been palpable but will be forgotten very soon. Looked flat today after a week off. On the bright side, of course, just not even a bad day at the office and a game we might not have won two months back.

I notice that it would've been Bob Paisley's 100th birthday yesterday.

3 euro pots.

Tactical genius? Leader of men? Development guru?

Not saying the boot room succession model is back on the table, but having the right man for the right job counts for a hell of a lot.

Ole is the smiling face of what appears to be a good blend of coaches. The players are loving it.

Probably won’t but he’s still enjoying the honeymoon. Will it continue?

Players running out of steam in 2nd half again due to having to actually run around a bit after nearly three years of strolling. Bit of a shock to the system. Don’t know the effects for the remainder of the season. Hopefully, we’ll benefit from an easy start, physically.
