Probably be more fun than it is right now tbh

They had to prevent their joke league becoming an even more one horse race.

Don’t think Dortmund would have gone out of business without that €2m loan. It was just a gesture. They probably just didn’t find it that funny for people to lose their club.

I can remember at that meeting at the Apollo in 2005. Everybody in despair. The chubby lad from AFC Wimbledon got on stage and told their tale. His point, L story S, was they’d all had the time of their lives setting up the new club and others had nothing to lose but their chains etc.

How much actual fun have these trainspotters with moustaches had at Bolton and Bury matches in the last few years? What exactly is it they’re terrified of losing? Drop down a few divisions and stop crying ffs.

Their stadium is horrific. Looks like an ugly warehouse.. they’d get more joy out of reforming a new club, starting from the bottom and getting a half decent stadium that suits their demand.

Why don't they just do a Rangers and just fold the club then make a new club called 'The Bury F. C.' whilst still keeping their stadium, training ground and trophy tally and history.

In fact all football clubs in the future facing financial difficulties should do this.

It's been allowed once so there is precedence.

The "history" is the only thing with no monetary value to anybody else. So its the only thing they'll be allowed to keep.

I know we missed the boat but I dont get why clubs like Bury arent fan owned. They have enough supporters to get enough money together to do it. Fans of teams like this should be looking at it because this will happen more and more.

Not really the point though is it, and anyway that's for them to decide.

Losing their club due to fraudulent/negligent ownership is an outrage and they have every right to feel let down.

Wimbledon have made great things from a bad situation, but that whole thing was heartbreaking for them. They're a model for how to cope with a disgraceful violation, not an excuse it continuing to happen. The FA/government take the piss out of followers of this sport.

Bury never stood a chance when this @#%&! turned up .

43 of 51 businesses Steve Dale has been associated with have been liquidated yet he was allowed to take ownership

The linked video is a staggering indictment on the FA or whoever's fit and proper person test thing
