He was a brilliant player no doubt, but I think people (ie - pure) were more won over by his whole Italian yet Eric-esque, unstable persona, than his actual football ability. Up there with Zidane, Maradonna? Give me a break.

Still had one of best finishes for someone who didn't play as an out and out striker.

He had about one season at each of those clubs (Napoli have been shite for years btw) and did sweet £#%&! all.

I prefer to remember him at Celtic, West Ham and £#%&!ing Charlton.

He's won jack shit and is best remembered for pushing over a ref and taking the piss out of Barthez. Great he was not.

he was a legend at napoli and was instrumental in the great ac milan teams
