Default Only 1600 at FC's home game yesterday

genuinely surprised at that.

i thought there would be an upturn in attendances now the new ground has been given the go ahead.

is that typical of the attendances lately?

Pretty typical of recent home crowds.

agreed, but it's well down compared to how many used to go to their home games though, no? i thought they would be getting an increase in attendances with the new stadium announcement.

They've found their natural level (at least as a tenant before I get slated) so I guess some people drift away when its not promotion after promotion.

They'll get a bump next season I expect.

Unsure why the attendance would go up after the news of an unbuilt ground 15 miles away...

It's bury, it was raining, it's bury, close to Xmas it's bury...

Maybe a bit low but they've been around that level this season. Hopefully the new ground will boost them.

Cracking 4-4 draw, FC came back from 2-0 down and also missed a sitter in injury time.

yeah, sounds like it was a good game. couple of my mates went for the first time and they said it was an entertaining game and a good atmosphere despite the low crowd, hence my op.

You asked about FC's attendances a few weeks ago, I told you anywhere between 1500-1800, you said "That's bloody good for that level"

You losing your marbles Jack?

Attendances are down generally. They're still getting more than double the 2nd team and more than Darlington too.
