Terribly selfish forwards.

Full backs that are either shit (AWB) always injured (Shaw) or both (Malacia). Only Dalot has any kind of return from the position that is incredibly important in the modern game.

Midfield boils down to having had Casemiro for half a season & he's playing like he's on fentanyl, Mainoo has been class. McBoxcrasher has been effective at one thing but frankly offers nothing outside of those goals in the way of creativity.

But really it's the forwards, the lack of cohesion in any patterns of play, they're astonishingly myopic - Rashford, Antony, Garnacho are all utterly incapable of doing the simplest thing for the good of the team. It's their brand first & United second. That's a coaching thing. A discipline thing. A respect issue.

Rashford and Anthony can’t score and won’t pass to somebody who can, but can’t because they won’t pass to him

Thank God for Garnacho or we’d be relegated. Shame he’ll be at Madrid in a couple of years

This.

I'd add Bruno being shit for the best part of a year as well.

Bruno is still involved in most of our goals though.

Most assists and top scorer doesn’t sound like reasons for the reason we’ve scored so few goals.

We were goal shy last year and have got worse even when we replace players and get better ones it doesn't seem to make much difference.

Skewed stats. 2023 is making us look far worse than we currently are.

2024 we're averaging a healthy 2.3 goals per game. We've also not failed to score in any game in 2024. Liverpool have failed to score twice in 2024. City have failed to score once in 2024. Arsenal have failed to score in five games in 2024.

2024 United: 2.3 goals per game.
1998-99 treble-winning United: 2.05 goals per game.

We're actually an absolute wrecking ball of a team.

Yep and he's also spent most of the season passing the ball to the opposition and missing chances.

I like Bruno as a player. But he's been £#%&!ing shite for a good 12 months now.

In-terms of their attitude it could be said they are even worse than the players that we're in our relegated team of 1974, because they at least played with a bit of spirit & desire but most of this current lot treat it like a chore, as if they would rather be going to the dentist
