Everton

Teams that play in blue.
Stuff like this really £#%&!ing pisses me off. Not the backhanders and the financial skullduggery, we all know that happens - but the papers reporting these "exclusives" about 10 years after the fact.

Yes, we all know Chelsea were being bank-rolled by a load of bent Russian money, why the £#%&! wasn't any of this investigated whilst it was actually happening.

the governing bodies in this country are beyond £#%&!ing useless when it comes to this and the media are just as complicit with their wilful ignorance.

If they’d copped half of that last season, they’d have been goners. Look a bit more resilient this season

Oooh, they’re onto it though, mate. Finally noticed 20 years after Abramovich and Glazers nearly as long. Still debating after two £#%&!ing years.

Been out walking with a bitter blue today, when he heard about the everton points deduction he admitted it was a concern, and that it’s bound to trigger more interest in city’s outstanding charges

However….”the premier league won’t take on the sheiks army of
Lawyers”

That’s what it comes down to…they know their tinpot club are as bent as £#%&!, but they think they are too rich to be found guilty

Wouldn’t be so sure. Their hero lawyer wasn’t much good at getting the government’s Rwanda plan through the courts this week, and couldn’t get Boris Johnson off his charges of misleading parliament.

It is absolutely mental that City can cheat their way success, piss all over the rule book and then just dare the Premier League to take them on. If they shit out of punishing City properly, the league/the competition is just pointless.

Surely with today's events, they HAVE to do something of substance?

They’ll never get their comeuppance. Even on the off chance they do attempt to punish City, as we’ve seen with the UEFA situation, they’ll go running to the bent as £#%&! CAS and get their punishment overturned.

Whilst I agree broadly with your view that they will find a way out, CAS in a non starter

If the charges stick the punishment, whilst most welcome, becomes irrelevant

The narrative will be;

They cheated
By cheating they won a league title
By winning a league title they attracted big name players
The big name players, who joined as a result of their cheating, delivered a European trophy

So all the success is a sham….whether stripped of titles or not they will be forever tarnished as cheats, with no respect or gravitas in the football world

You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one

Not only all this, but the most important thing that should happen is that they will have to stop cheating, and that will make the league more competitive again. It should also act as a deterant to other teams cheating in this way in the future.

I would be happy with the liberal application of asterixes against all their "achievements".

Authorities are as complicit as anyone. That’s half the reason for the £#%&!ing dalliance. They’ve got to cover their own arses first. If nearly every fan could see it coming, Wtf were they doing about it? Not their £#%&!ing job, that’s for sure. Didn’t hang around putting the brakes on when big Rupe came knocking

If Everton are successfully sued for £300m, can you imagine how much city will have to pay out ?!!!

Strip them of their trophies and demote them to the bottom division like Rangers.

So it looks like a shit load of slap on the wrist charges and a few serious ones according to Ornstein.
