Rather convenient to have mental health issues when I’m sure he could be criticised for lacking any form of professional ambition whilst taking the financial piss.

He’s not to blame for this - Woodward is, but £#%&! me, what a uninspiring character to have around the club. a player who has no real interest in his own career other than to do £#%&! all and collect his weekly £150k+.

An embarrassment to the club in every respect.

We're paying the banks £50m interest a year, the Glazers are taking £12m a year in dividends.

Phil Jones is not the problem, and him getting dogs abuse for being injured is unfair. He's only costing 5% of the two annual costs above. This awful decision to award him with a contract extension is not his fault, its the situation that's the disaster.

I'd hope the contract would have a large performance element given his injury track record.

Eleven years. Eleven £#%&!ing years

At the club longer than Ronaldo, Cantona, van Nistelrooy, Stam, likely even Roy Keane ffs.

What a sick, sick joke.

The Bosh has confirmed he'll stink the club out for another season. Injuries and £#%&! all interest so he'll get another 30 minutes of playtime between now and next June, picking up millions of pounds in the process.

Injured atm apparently.

Still prefer him to Maguire tbh.

Tuanzebe also injured. His heir apparent..

Where do we find these genetically broken footballers

One of the ladies in the club canteen shouted “Give the cabbage a strain” yesterday morning. Phil will be sidelined for the next six weeks.

Can't they just pay him a portion of his wages and get rid?

What an absolute joke, he seems fine with having a non-existent career.

Is he really actually injured or just happy to collect his undeserved wage rather than try to do something with his career

I’ve no sympathy for players like Jones
No interest in making the most out of their careers
