Will be sacked before the end of the season.

How good is he exactly? Been okay with Brighton. One top 10 finish in three seasons is hardly pulling up trees. By all accounts a good tactician, but some of the praise seems over the top.

Can't see it working out in the long term though, simply because it's Chelsea.

If he gets time I think he should. Worked his way from the bottom up so deserves his chance.

Just depends on his ability to control egos.

I think that if he signs maguire in January, he has a chance of winning the league cup.

It’ll be Harry, Potter and the goblet of dire.

A lot of players there now on final pay day mode (Aubameyang, Sterling, Koulibaly) .. they won't respect him or really give a £#%&! so long as money is in the bank each week. They've played their careers out already. He may do well over a multi-year period but yet to be seen whether the Ken Bates mk 2 regime will actually be minded to stay the course if this season is poor

You reckon Potter has it tough because he has a couple of players on last big contracts when the spine of our team are in exactly the same boat.

Amazed he took the job tbh, between the owners and that squad, just seems like a total mismatch. Obviously a very good manager, but wrong club at the wrong time. Fail

Ah. Wouldn’t put Varane in that boat tbh .. he actually came here in prime years, just struggled with fitness. Utd won’t get anywhere if Ronaldo and Dubrovka are to be relied upon .. obv. Eriksen has surprised to the upside .. but he’s in a different case of thanking his lucky stars he’s even still playing football as opposed to Aubameyang / Sterling coming down from Barca / City. There’s also the question of expectations being different at SB/OT currently.

But above all else none of those players are Potters players. With players of that ilk playing for what they might rightly see as a “novice” manager that feels pretty critical. We shall see how they all respond ..

Poisoned chalice. Tuchel did great at chelsea. Firing him because he just wants to be first team coach was madness imo.

3 consecutive losses. Abramovich would have probably sacked him yesterday

Think that Tuchel has gravitas but would some of Chelsea’s senior players buy in to somebody who hasn’t won anything and only managed Swansea and Brighton?

Right job, wrong time maybe. He’s a slow burner.

The WC is coming at a good time for him. Aways thought it was a bad job for him to take tbh. He’s going to need time and patience, Chelsea isn’t the place for that.
