Yes he wasn't the most reliable finisher which delighted the media eager for any stick to beat United. But his overall forward play was outstanding.

Probably the best strike partnership I've ever seen. Just a shame it only really lasted 2 years. I remember Yorke single handedly destroying Arsenal in one of his last games, thought he might turn it around but it wasn't to be.
