We have won just one of our last 8 league games against Arsenal, with that win coming at home last season. (1 win, 3 draws and 4 losses).

But Arsenal have won just one of their last 15 league games at Old Trafford, which came with a 0-1 win in November 2020. (1 win, 5 draws and 9 losses).

And Arsenal have lost more away games in the Premier League era against us (17 games) than any other team.

We have managed to keep just one clean sheet in our last 16 games against Arsenal, which came in a goalless draw at the Emirates in January 2021. At home we’ve conceded in out last 8 league games against Arsenal, last keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win played in November 2013.

If Arsenal manage to win they will become the 5th different team to win all of their opening 6 Premier League matches. (Newcastle 94-95, Chelsea 05-06 & 09-10, Man City 16-17 and Liverpool 18-19 & 19-20).

Now that is how you start a Match Day Thread. Bravo, Patty.

Haven't been this upbeat about a Premier League game in a long time.

Old Trafford is going to be absolutely rocking.

Interested to see the team, can't imagine Anthiny will start, hoping Casemiro does. That front 3 is the key to victory I think, Elanga is awful, Rashford, despite a goal and assist in the last couple, is still playing like shit. Get the balance of the front 3 right and I fancy our chances.

The only balance we’ve got is by sticking Ronaldo up front and expecting nothing from him apart from putting the ball in the net, if all the other players get theirs heads round this and get the ball to him we’ll be fine.

4-1 United. Ronaldo hatty,

Ronaldo might not have the legs, but we saw the other night he’s far more careful in possession than Rashford. Showed some nice touches the other night. He links up well with good players. Because he’s a good player.

The hype is real

Feeling really good about this game. Think every player beats their opposite number, helped in by an electric atmosphere. The king will score.

Reckon we’ll do these. They’ve had a great start but they’ve played a load of shit.

3-1 to Manchester United.

Would be great if we could capitalise on city and Liverpool dropping points.

And to beat these smug @#%&!s would be so satisfying

I wonder what the stats are regarding us capitalising on our rivals dropping points.

arsenals fixtures have flattered them. will take 8-2.

People way too giddy.

Jesus is an excellent purchase for them. Thankfully our defence is finally fairly decent.

Again it’s lack of goals - Elanga is dog shit and shouldn’t be at the club, Rashford the same and Ronaldo is unfortunately a very limited player who shouldnt be starting.

Hopefully Bruno or Sancho can deliver.

Would take a draw now no problem.
